Brand identity and digital visuals for a young, urban car share service that showcases emerging artists’ work. A collaboration with a colleague.

CONCEPT
Our brief was to develop the branding for a car share service for young, urban creatives. We determined that a great appeal to that particular audience would be a type of moving “art collection” experience hosted as decals on the car share’s fleet. Featured artists would be paid for the time their work was displayed and they would gain exposure. Car drivers would be able to drive an art piece in a similar way to how they wear a fashion piece, in both instances promoting an artist and their own personal style.
The Vibrant colour and dynamic diagonals highlight the energy of the artists and the premise of a service about movement, flexibility and creative exchange. The map feature of the booking app shows pins of the vehicle’s currently displayed artwork because that will empower the driver to choose which artist they would like to display and support.

I spent $114 on car2go (car share) trips while working on this project.
